Soo is an international creative director, conceptual artist, futurist, designer and experiential architect of spaces, places and content for the physical and virtual worlds. Her work spans global hospitality and select residential design projects, the creation and curation of unique immersive and mixed-reality events, exhibition design, set- design, art direction, packaging and product design.
Soo specialises in unique concepts with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of her cutting-edge designs are tailored to the needs of the most discerning clients, with the highest expectations of quality. She ensures that all her projects are designed with an integrated and holistic approach – embracing architecture, interiors, graphic design, sound, technology and fine detail.
Her lengthy experience designing hospitality spaces are planned not only to maximise the efficiency of management, but also to ensure the best possible quality of experience is enjoyed by all. As a creative director Soo is used to leading international teams of architects and designers that are able to provide all aspects of a project, from architecture, interiors, graphic design, web design, product design, sound design, art curation, furniture and lighting to landscape design services. Her track record demonstrates her ability to leverage every opportunity to interact with the latest technology and integrate that into how we live, work and play. As a conceptual artist and event creator she regularly collaborates with world renowned visual artists, musicians, dj’s, performers, producers and creative technologists. All these combined resources give her the ability to provide superior design and event solutions.
Soo is the UK Ambassador to the Independent & Sovereign Nation of Hawai'i. As their Creative Director Soo’s role is to bridge the futurists from the global creative community with the indigenous land stewards of Hawai'i, together they are visioning and building a future focused holistic living system, centred around the ancient Hawaiian wisdom tradition of the Ahupua'a ecosystems.
As a creative visionary I draw from the future to create the now on a backdrop of the past. I love to collaborate and build bridges for the futurists and the ancients to play together and co- create.
As a conceptual artist and event creator I regularly collaborates with renowned visual artists, musicians, dj’s, performers, producers and creative technologists, to create unique immersive experiences for the
terraverse and metaverse.
My design philosophy incorporates a synergy of elements, aesthetics, sound, lighting and ambience are given equal importance in order to maximise the energy of the spaces and places that I co-create.
I'm particularly interested in what it means to be human in the 21st Century paradigm and the role that creatives can play in sowing the seeds for a more harmonious future narrative, by harnessing technology to our advantage in how we live, work and play.
